Government of the Day has introduced three key labour bills in Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Parliament) on 19-09-2020. It clearly shows the concern & Special focus by the Government towards Occupational, health and environmental, Industrial safety.
The Government has understoodd and realised the importance of safety in each and every organisation. The three bills which are introduced in Parliament are as follows :
1) Occupational Safety, Health & Working Conditions Code 2020
2) Industrial Relations Code 2020
3) Code on Social Security 2020
Introduction Occupational health and safety in labour laws shows that it has equal importance to other labour laws and seriousness of the government towards Health & Safety in all Organisations/Industries/Workers.
With this we can assume/Presume that the opportunities for Safety Professionals across the Sectors are immense. And it’s the time en-cash these opportunities by young & potential Safety Professionals by taking up Required Indian/International Certifications.
